Beaconsfield Residential Care Home is a well-established care facility located in the heart of Portsmouth. What We Do

At Beaconsfield, we provide 24-hour care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Our residents may be living with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or other complex mental health challenges. Our goal is to support them in managing their conditions while promoting a sense of normalcy and well-being.

We assist our clients with:
• Daily living tasks such as personal hygiene and grooming
• Meal preparation and nutrition — we provide three healthy meals per day
• Medication administration and compliance monitoring
• Community access and supervised outings
• Engaging activities that stimulate the mind and promote social interaction

Our Staff and Work Environment

We are proud of our warm, team-oriented culture. Our staff members are committed professionals who bring kindness, patience, and understanding to their roles every day. We currently employ:

• Care Support Workers who provide hands-on assistance to residents
• Cooks who prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs
• Domestic Staff who ensure cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
• A Deputy Manager who helps oversee daily operations
• A Registered Manager who ensures regulatory compliance and quality care delivery

All staff members work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, to ensure consistent, around-the-clock care. We offer flexible working arrangements where possible and provide ongoing training and support to help staff grow in their roles.
